Great Bra! January 15, 2009 Melissa Szymanski (MI USA) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I purchased this nursing bra with four other kinds to try out. This is by far the best of the four (I also bought two other bravado kinds(original & microfiber) and a sleeping medula). Being it is my secong time around nursing I wanted a bra that gave support, was comfy, and would allow for the changing shape and size while nursing. This is the winner. I am keeping all four bras, the others will do well for different activities (sleeping/excersizing/staying at home)but I am also buying more of these for when I am out and about.
I use very thin nursing pads and have had no problem with them showing through like in some of the other reviews. I might suggest going bigger than you think you need, I am regularly a 34B, I bought the medium which is suppose to cover 36C, but I definetly could have gotten away with the large. definetly worth the money!
GREAT Bra! December 29, 2008 E. Wareham (North GA, USA) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I have tried several different bras and this one is the BEST! Here's a few pros and cons:
Pros:
- I am a 34DD (actually a 32-33DD) and ordered the medium - it fits great!
- It's so comfortable, you can wear it all day to work and leave it on under your PJs
- It's easy to clasp and unclasp
- The fabric is of very good quality - it's nice and stretchy but doesn't feel like it's going to lose its shape
Cons:
- I don't use the removable pads because they tend to show through, as the pads line most but not *the entirety* of the cups
- The price isn't ideal (but then, you get what you pay for) and it is about the same price at all the retailers
I really had to think to get some cons because I actually own 2 of these and I would recommend them to any nursing mom!
Best pre-pregnancy bra ever! February 11, 2008 Jennifer C. Hartmann (Boston, MA United States) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I just received this bra and it is so comfortable, thank god I ordered two! I did use a nursing bra with my son where my breast popped through a hole, I can tell this one will be so much better. I also like that I can unhook my bra with one hand which I know will be helpful since I could not do this with my prior nursing bras. I took out the foam inserts for now but may find them handy when I'm having to wear nursing pads. I did not have the same problem as the prior reviewer, my foam insert covers my entire cup. Maybe it depends on your breast size, I ordered the small in butterscotch :) Oh by the way, breakoutbras.com gives you a 10% discount if you are a repeat customer. I also own the Medela sleep bra, very comfy too.
GREAT (strechy) maternity/nursing bra! January 7, 2008 Ayami Hiroshige (California) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I purchased this bra when I was about 8 months pregnant. . . it has the comfortable fit of a sports bra, but it has the hook and eye closure in the back, which makes it super comfy! I had to get another. . . and I just had my baby a couple of weeks ago, and purchased another.
This bra is not only comfortable, its practical too. . . unhooking for breastfeeding is a breeze (once you get the hang of it). . . and you can unhook w/one hand (hooking back up takes two hands). It has removable cups - since having my baby, I took out the cups since I'm using nursing pads. Since this isn't like a "normal" bra w/cup sizes, it can grow and shrink w/you because of the stretchy material. It doesn't have underwire - which is good if you're breastfeeding because it doesn't cause your milk to "let down".
When my milk did come in, and my breasts were really swollen and tender, this bra was great to put on (because of the back closure), gave me the support, and EXPANDED. . . totally a lifesaver those couple of painful days! :o)
I will probably purchase a couple more of these bras if I continue nursing. . . even if I don't - they are the most comfortable bras out there.
Love this bra! August 11, 2009 Lil's Mama (Bflo, NY) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have a 3 week old and bought this bra today--absolutely love it! Very supportive and functional. I'm much more comfortable moving around and feel very supported. It's worth the extra money for the quality and fit of this bra. I'm a 36D and the large fits very well. Highly recommended.
