I wish they had half stars. I would have bumped this suit up to 3 1/2 stars.

I used to have a swimsuit (which cost me 3x as much) made of this material and I lost it after only two wears. I was thrilled when I found a similar swimsuit from Marina West (though the style was different). It arrived today and it fits well on the bottom. I ordered it a size larger than the sizing guide suggested, based on other reviews. I'm glad I did. The quality feels good. The belt and back pocket that match the top are nice touches. The top, however, doesn't fit as well. It is a bit large on me. I'm pear shaped, so generally one-piece clothes need to be smaller on top than bottom to fit me. This suit didn't come with a mix and match option (in which case I would have ordered the top a size smaller). But even if the top were more adjustable, it could have worked out. But it doesn't tie behind the neck. It has a one-size-fits-all clasp. So it can't even be adjusted to fit a bit tighter on top. (I think I'll cut off the clasp and try to tie it. ) Also, when bathing suits get wet, they fit even looser. I am a bit afraid of how this top will fit me once its wet. But I really like the modest style, and the bottoms are very flattering. So I'm going to try to make it work. Just be aware, if you're way bigger on the bottom than the top, you might want to take that into account when ordering. If you're more boy shaped or bigger on top than bottom, you should be fine with this style (but I still suggest a size larger than you might think you need).

In the end, I'm attached enough to this fabric to make this bathing suit work for me. Otherwise, I might return it and try a different style or size.
