Product Description The Bravado Basic Nursing bra has a distinct cross over cup design, with drop down cups that fasten to the straps with press studs. It has a wide under elastic providing even weight distribution and under-breast support and doesn't ride up or slip.

Great Nursing Bra January 4, 2005 Rachel V. Foster (Arvada, CO) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
You wouldn't believe how comfortable these bras are until you've tried one. I have a very difficult time finding proper sizes because my breasts are really large when I am nursing, but this bra has support like an underwire (the elastic at the rib band) but is really much more gentle and better fitting than an underwire bra. The snaps on the shoulders make it really very simple to undo your nursing cup with only one hand, and to re-button it too (which is really important when you're nursing on the go or sleeping). Plus they make these bras to accomodate women with very, very large breasts - something most bra makers aren't very good at.
I have tried many different nursing bras, this one is hands down the best. Worth every penny!
Great Nursing Bra for Bigger Breasts February 9, 2010 Alison Kern (Nebraska, USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I was looking for a nursing bra that's comfortable enough to sleep in but still had enough support for me (42DD). I tried the Medela sleep bra, which was too lightweight for my full breasts, and regular sports bras, which caused plugged ducts from pressing down the tops of my breasts while nursing. A lactation consultant measured me and recommended this in the XL++ size and I loved it so much I bought another within the week. It's soft yet supportive, and my breasts don't fall out of the cups while sleeping like with my everyday nursing bras. The flap clasps are easy to do with one hand and the elastic holds me up without pressing too tightly.
This is a great nursing bra for sleeping and around the house, though I'd be fine wearing it in public too since it doesn't give you the "uniboob" most sports bras do. For help with sizing, try the manufacturer's website [...]. Don't be embarrassed by the "plus" and "double plus" terms...it's not necessarily just for plus-sized women, it's just the way they distinguish between levels of support.
I can't attest to the smaller sizes, but for ladies like me who have large, heavy breasts when nursing, this is a fantastic product.
The best maternity/ nursing bra for fuller bustlines June 15, 2005 Discerning reader (Hong Kong) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is the first time I felt compelled to write a review, but this bra is wonderful. I am still in my third trimester of pregnany and have already purchased a total of 5-7 different maternity bras. Bravado's is the best. Starting with a D cup, my breast began growing at the same rate as my belly and now at a E-F cup. Other brands in a size 36E began to start pinching at my sides.
I needed something that was comfortable with lots of support. The Bravado Plus and Double Plus is my savior. It is comfortable with wide underbust support in a breatheable cotton/ lyra fabric.
The only negative part of this bra are the seams on the side of the nipple. It is impossible to go for a seamless look. However, the excellent functionality of this bra makes it all worthwhile. I would highly recommend this to anyone with breasts larger than a C cup!
The best nursing bra for the well-endowed! August 17, 2005 A. Shelton (Baltimore, MD United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
As a 34DD, I was concerned about support during nursing. I spared no expense in buying nursing bras so that I could find the most comfortable. This one wins on every level. It is very comfortable, provides great support, and allows one-handed snapping and unsnapping. Plus, they are more affordable than many of the other bras for larger cup sizes.
Great versatile bra, also for larger sizes. May 10, 2010 Gretchen 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got two of these at a local store. I have the Bravado seamless nursing bra, which is a dream and wanted to give this one a try. I needed something that was a bit more versatile for nursing- something that would allow me to pull aside the cup like a sleep bra but also allowed for drop-cup nursing. This fits the bill! It is very, VERY comfortable. I was a bit confused by the sizing, like the other reviewer said. I wear a 38DD in the seamless bra and went with a L although it indicates up to size 36C-D. It fits great. I'd say, go down one size. The XL would have been too big for me. I was a bit worried about my shape going out to the sides, but the bra is surprisingly supportive all around. It works great for around the house, every day, under wrap shirts and V necks. One other thing: the white and black have "hooks" like the seamless bra, not button snaps. I have seen the leopard pattern, which does have snap button closure on the drop cups.
